Escuela Dominical - Programa Navidad

s a José y a María.
Gracias a Dios por trabajar en equipo y de poder conocer de las maravillas de la Palabra de Dios.

Ask yourself: How am I doing in each of these areas?
Pregúntate: ¿Cómo lo estoy haciendo en cada una de estas áreas?

Wednesday- Miércoles

 1. Word- La Palabra

I have not departed from His commands, but have treasured His words more than daily food. Job 23:12

To love Jesus more we must understand Him more. This takes ravenous hunger for Scripture and the perpetual turning to the Holy Spirit to be taught.

Misty Edwards. IHOP-KC: Jesus. He did not say, “If you pray” as though praying was optional, but “when you pray.” Neither did Jesus say,” If you fast”, as if it was optional, but “when you fast”

Lord may I thrill at Your Words, and in this coming year hold them as my most precious possession.

Thursday- Martes

 2. Examine Ourselves- Examinemosnos

Let’s take a good look at the way we are living and reorder our lives under God. - Lam 3:40 The Message

Are we putting the emphasis on “doing” rather than “being,” or “service” rather than “character,” or “work for the Lord,” rather than our “walk before the Lord.” Have we substituted “activity” for “intimacy?”

"Fasting is a voluntary form of weakness, it is the intentional embracing of weakness for the purpose of uncovering of greater grace. Self denial has a weakening effect on the human vessel. It makes us more vulnerable. Those who embrace voluntary weakness have personal experience of this great principle "My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness." - Mike Bickle.

Lord today I ask you to test my heart and motives and see if there be any wicked way in me

 3. Character Of God (Carácter de Dios)

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8
I the Lord do not change. Malachi 3:6

Our prayer life is only as powerful as our knowledge of the character of God, every single fascinating facet of it. - Joy Dawson

"For me, fasting has just been a huge part of everything God has done in my life. Fasting means I am putting everything on hold, and I am spending the time with God. It brings everything in focus, and I become eternity-minded."  - Jentezen Franklin, Georgia Mega church pastor whose church will once again this January join in the 21 day fast.

Lord that I might know You more and I ask for a Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You.

 4. Hunger for God (Hambre por Dios)

God blesses those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Matt 5:6

If I had one gift or desire to bestow on you more than others, I would bestow on you the hunger for God. - John G. Lake

Fasting is the denial of legitimate pleasures for the sake of the Kingdom of God. - Bob Sorge

Lord may I be more consumed with a desire and hunger for You than for anything else.

 5. Sabbath Rest (Descanso del sábado)

Keep the Sabbath Day holy, don’t pursue your own interests on that day, but enjoy the Sabbath and speak of it with delight as the Lord’s holy day. Isaiah 58:13

Withdraw weekly. Take a day off each week for relaxation and restoration. - Rick Warren

"Fasting. The voluntary denial of a normal function for the sake of intense spiritual activity." - Richard Foster

Lord I pray against the busyness of ministry and life keeping me from being obedient to your command to delight in a Sabbath Day.

 6. Pursuit of God (Búsqueda de Dios)

I’m single-minded in my pursuit of You; don’t let me miss the road signs you’ve posted. Psalm 119:10

When you realize you will never step into all you were made for without regularly encountering His presence, it changes how you pursue Him. - Jeremy Riddle.

Fasting is one of God’s most gracious gifts to us because it enables us to intensify our pursuit of the face of Jesus Christ. - Bob Sorge

Lord I pray against a satisfaction of where I am with You, help me to set my face to seek You with all that I am.
